EPGBill Establishes Physical Presence in U.S.
YNOT – Internet payment services provider EPGBill, a division of Frankfurt, Germany-based Euro Payment Group, has opened a new office in Florida. Although the company has served select North American website owners for some time, the Miami office represents the vanguard in a planned expansion of the company’s presence in the U.S.
Michael Sperber, a 17-year veteran of the electronic payments industry who has worked with billers including SegPay and DuoCash, will lead EPGBill’s North American operation.
“I have known EPG from the time they began in this industry [in 2003] and have worked with them previously as an outside partner,” Sperber said. “They have always been straightforward, honest and reliable, with fantastic technology and an eye for innovation.
“I’ve enjoyed watching them build an excellent team of dedicated, detail-oriented people,” he added. “I’m really looking forward to joining their team and helping them to operate an onsite operation for the western hemisphere.”
EPGBill Chief Executive Officer Christian Diegelmann said the U.S. office will allow his company to forge closer relationships with clients across the Americas.
