YNOT – Transsexual performer Lexi Wade has been in the adult industry for fewer than two years, yet in that short time she has been nominated for two awards and starred in more than 15 online videos. In addition, she successfully coordinated and hosted events benefiting The Transgender Center of America.

These days, Wade is working on her first solo girl website, writing a book and scripting a new reality TV show.

Clearly, this T-girl is driven. Where does she get all that energy?

YNOT.com: Please tell us about yourself and your work in adult.

Lexi Wade: Born in Athens, Greece, and raised in Houston, I found myself in south Florida at the age of 19, filming my first scenes for both Shemale Yum and Foxy Angel. This being a new chapter in my life, I wasn’t too sure what to expect, but before I knew it, I had made my entrance into the adult film industry. I had a fan base before ever having a scene released online, simply because of my social networking and blogging.

Shortly after releasing three scenes, I found myself traveling to Los Angeles for the first time. During my first visit to the West Coast, I had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest people.

Also during my week-long visit, I filmed two hardcore scenes and two others for various websites. Then, just after returning back to Houston, I received a phone call from producers at The Jerry Springer Show, and before I knew it, I was on a plane to Stamford, Conn.

In November 2010, I was featured on national television for the first time. During that same month, I was nominated for my first award, “Best Up & Cummer” at the 2010 Tranny Awards. I was shocked and speechless.

Aug. 17 will be my two-year anniversary in the adult film industry, and I’m so proud to say that I’ve worked with some amazingly talented people and companies and have accomplished a lot that many others haven’t.

Earlier this year, I was nominated for my first “Transsexual Performer of the Year” award. I’m still not sure what to say, other than it’s such a huge honor to be in a category with people like Mia Isabella and this year’s winner, Jesse Flores.

I’m now preparing to visit Los Angeles again for my second time this year for the 4th Annual Tranny Awards, and yes, I am nominated for “Best Non-Typical Model.” I will be launching an exclusive solo site with Grooby Network this summer and have by far the greatest team and support group. It’s because of my fans as to why I am where I am today.

What initially attracted you to the adult industry?

Just like some other well-known stars, I first began as a personal assistant for an existing entertainer and porn star while living in Jacksonville, Fla. Like they say, “It’s not what you know, but who you know.” I was simply connected with the right people at the right time.

Now what attracted me to the adult industry was the fact that not only do I get to be in front of a camera all the time, which I absolutely love, but I also get to play with fans and get all the attention.

To me, porn is simply the art of the human body and how two bodies interact with one another during intercourse. It’s all art to me. It’s become a passion that’ll live long through my career.

You have succeeded despite not having a pair of silicone DDs, which many would say is a prerequisite for T-girl porn success. How have you managed to do it? What’s the secret of your success?

I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I’m able to offer an exotic, all-natural look that some can’t. Along with that are my personality, professionalism and overall demeanor when it comes to the adult film industry.

I’ve coordinated and successfully hosted two parties benefiting The Transgender Center of America, and I believe that’s how I’ve gotten my most recent nominations. I’m taking my career and giving back to the community, which allows me to stand out from others.

I’ve also been lucky enough to connect and converse with some of the most successful stars in today’s industry. Without the advice and guidance of others, I might not be where I am today.
Finally, I try to connect with each and every one of my fans as much as I can, and I keep them updated with everything I’m doing. I’m determined to be a success, and I want to leave a name, brand and legacy that people will never forget.

How would describe your attitude about sex?

I would describe my sex attitude as mysterious. You’re never sure what’s going to come from me, or what I may do. Thus far, I’ve been known as this petite, all-natural, dominant shemale, but lately I’ve found that I enjoy the pleasures of anal sex.

I prefer to be in control in most situations. However, the submissive side of me is quite a freak. I could have an orgasm simply by a guy fucking my throat with his hands tangled in my hair, pulling and shoving. It’s absolutely my favorite thing ever to feel a hard, massive throbbing cock in my throat. And when it’s time to cum, well, I don’t really care where it goes.

What makes anal sex pleasurable for the recipient?

The experience of anal sex varies. Different people like different things.

Personally, I enjoy the feeling of having a cock deep inside me while my partner caresses my body, rubs on my breasts, kisses my neck. I mean, what’s not to enjoy about that? It sends an urge through my body that is almost unexplainable.

Here’s a question that has been known to raise hackles: Is the mind of a transsexual male, female, both or something entirely different?

Very good question, and all of us transsexual women will have different opinions on this topic.
To me, every transsexual woman has a mind of her own, but highly influenced by the mind of a female. Once one is under hormone replacement treatment and fully living her life as a woman, the mind does begin to alter into a more feminine point of view.

It varies by individual, of course. I’ve met many transsexual women of all types in the past five years. Some them have a more of a masculine personality, and others are complete divas. And by divas, I don’t mean bitches — I mean extremely feminine.

However, I do think that each trans-woman has a masculine way of thinking when it comes to particular situations, but only we would recognize it.

What do you enjoy about T-girl sex, and what do you not enjoy?

Sex with a lady like me is just like having sex with a woman, only I have something a little extra to offer my partner.

Just like every other woman, sex to me is passionate and romantic. I highly enjoy the intimacy, kissing, role-playing and, of course, having extremely hot intercourse. Whether I’m in control or being controlled, as long as we’re both happy at the end, that’s all that really matters.

However, there are some things — not too many — that I do not enjoy about sex.
