Elton John Foundation to Benefit from Novelty Sales
BROOMFIELD, Colo. – The term “viral video” takes on new meaning for the entire month of February, thanks to a partnership between Eldorado Trading Company, Wet and Doc Johnson that will generate funds for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
During Platinum February, Eldorado will donate proceeds from the purchases of Doc Johnson Platinum and Wet Platinum to the foundation, which since 1992 has worked to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS through innovative prevention programs, eliminate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS, and provide treatment, care and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS.
The idea arose when Eldorado’s YouTube channel went platinum with one million views. The channel consists of more than 1,000 videos including product demos, sales tutorials and commercials. Retailers use the videos for training staff, adding to their websites and as in-store video libraries for customer engagement.
“This is a great opportunity to highlight our YouTube channel as a valuable educational tool for our customers,” Eldorado Chief Executive Officer Larry Garland said. “Additionally, the Platinum promotion is a wonderful partnership to help a worthwhile and important cause. We’re very happy to be supporting a progressive foundation while highlighting two top-selling product lines from two great companies.”
Garland founded Eldorado in the early 1970s in his basement. Today, the company is an award-winning, international distributor of adult toys, novelties and lingerie. For more information, visit Eldorado.net.
