Elevated X Adds SEO Enhancements
YNOT – Los Angeles-based Elevated X has added to its content-management system software a file-naming facility designed to enhance search engine optimization. According to Chief Executive Officer AJ Hall, without digging into a page’s HTML code, site administrators can add a customized “SEO URL” for each update, model or news entry, thereby potentially improving their website’s ranking among search engine results.
“Since all the text on a site can be edited from inside the CMS admin panel, no coding is required and no web skills are needed to employ some basic search engine optimization strategies,” Hall said.
The new feature works with standard tours, free- and limited-trial areas and so-called “transparent tours” that can span hundreds or thousands of pages, all of which may be indexed by search engines.
“This gives pay site owners a tremendous advantage, especially when competing with tubes for search engine traffic,” Hall said.
The feature is standard with all new Elevated X installations, he added. Existing Elevated X users may request an update free of charge.
