Eldorado Trading Company, the award-winning distributor of adult toys, lingerie, and party supplies is excited to announce the appointment of Derek DalPiaz to the Sales team as the company’s Director of Sales. DalPiaz will be responsible driving sales for the business by working with customers, suppliers and the Eldorado Sales team.

A Colorado native, DalPiaz graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Business and Computer Information Systems. He eventually earned an MBA in Management and Operations from the University of Colorado, Denver. He comes to Eldorado with extensive professional experience in both manufacturing and wholesale distribution. DalPiaz is Six Sigma certified, which prioritizes a “disciplined, statistical-based, data driven approach and continuous improvement methodology.”  Certified Six Sigma professionals are experts in process analysis, reducing costs, and increasing profits.

Eldorado CEO Wanda Garland is excited to have DalPiaz join the Eldorado executive team. “Derek’s business knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to the company. His Six Sigma expertise will be influential to employee morale, customer service, and of course, revenue.”

DalPiaz looks forward to getting to know the Sales team and seeing which best practices will work well for Eldorado and the industry. “Working for a smaller, family-oriented company makes it easier to make decisions that effect meaningful change. Learning how Eldorado best fits into the supply chain will show us we can better serve both manufacturers and retailers.”

DalPiaz will be working at the company’s headquarters in Broomfield, Colorado.
