Winter blahs? Out of shape? Tami Rose, sexpert and owner of adult lifestyle boutique Romantic Adventures offers up some valuable advice for Valentine’s Day lovers – roll out the mat and do your YOGA!

Rose advises to stay focused exclusively on your partner – “stay in the moment and when they breathe out, you breathe in” – and be attentive to energy flow. “Tantra teaches that a woman receives universal energy in from her crown chakra and brings it down through her body to her root chakra, while men bring energy up from the earth and it rises through their energy system.”

While many sex positions can be enhanced physically through yoga, Rose notes that energy and gratitude are key in an intimate connection. “Try seeing your partner as a transparent vessel of all the universal energy you have just poured into them and take time to honor them as the vessel of the whole Universe. Your partner has made themselves vulnerable to your attitude and disposition, remember to honor them and appreciate the sacrifice of the ego they are making by being there with you.
