Edit Videos Within a Website’s CMS
YNOT – Elevated X has expanded its signature product’s capabilities by adding video editing to the list of features incorporated in the award-winning content-management suite.
The addition offers convenience and time savings, according to Chief Executive Officer AJ Hall, as content producers and pay-site owners may cut videos and create high-end trailers without leaving the Elevated X CMS admin panel. Webmasters merely set an unlimited number of “in” and “out” points as they view a video, and the software automatically generates a finished product complete with transitions.
In addition, users may specify pre- and post-roll material to be added to their trailers. The system can automatically append a 2257 message, a video advertisement, watermarks or other branding, or almost anything else a producer or site owner wants end-users to see.
The CMS will add the new video files to a site’s tour without prompting.
“A pay site owner can cut a custom, professional-looking video trailer and have it automatically show up on their tour with less than five minutes’ work,” Hall said.
The new functionality ties into the software’s optional video-encoding add-on, which allows a user to transcode videos in multiple formats. Elevated X customers who already employ the transcoding add-on may obtain the video-editing features for free; others must submit a request for an upgrade.
“Our company’s first new feature announcement of 2013 is a clear indicator of the direction Elevated X is headed,” Hall said. “We’re excited to continue the technological push we began in 2006. We intend to see our customers benefit from our commitment to making ongoing improvements to the Elevated X CMS for years to come.”
