Eddie Kreider Returns to the Profession He Loves
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – After about a year leading the business development team at DatingGold, Eddie Kreider has returned to the business he loves: recruitment and professional job placement.
On Nov. 6, Kreider will debut HotJobsAlert, a “boutique search firm” for the adult entertainment industry.
“I think sometimes you need to step back and evaluate things, and what I learned is that sometimes a change is not in order,” he said. “I missed running the recruitment business I built up over eight years.”
The new company is a reboot of Kreider’s previous firm, XindustryJobs. Kreider said he’s excited about the changes he’s made to the firm in order to make recruitment and job searching “more user-friendly for all involved.”
“One of the biggest changes you will see is an added business partner,” he said. “Rob Jonathan will be taking the role as president and will assist with the day-to-day running of HotJobsAlert.”
Jonathan is an 11-year veteran of the mainstream advertising business. From 2013 through 2015, he served as chief information officer for JuicyAds. He also has worked as the advertising manager at WebKrew/Cam4.
“I am really excited to work and collaborate with Rob,” Kreider said. “He brings a lot of fresh, new ideas.”
Kreider said HotJobsAlert plans to enter some verticals he hasn’t explored before. In addition to adult entertainment and dating, the firm will begin working with advertising and affiliate network, plus companies operating in the mobile space. A primary focus will be on start-ups and midsize companies.
The new website, HotJobsAlert.com, will provide what Kreider called “some much-needed tools” to assist both employers and job candidates navigate the hiring process. Tools include pre-tests for candidates before interviewing and video clips of selected candidates. Job searchers will be able to store their resumes in a secured area, submit a resume to targeted employers, see where their resume is in the employer’s process and track their job-search history. They also may sign up to receive email alerts when new jobs are posted.
“Some of these new interactive tools on the site will enable the user to manage their whole process, be it hiring or finding a new position,” he said. “I am super-stoked about the site. Rob has spent a lot of time fine-tuning it and making it user-friendly.”
Kreider said he and Jonathan will maintain an active presence at trade shows and conferences worldwide.
“I think it’s important if you’re going to work with companies all over the globe to have some face time with them, as well,” he said.
HotJobsAlert is based in Sacramento, California, and Toronto. The firm works with employers and job candidates to place the right person in the right job from administration to marketing to technical.
