E-Tailer Adult Empire Launches Responsive Site
Pittsburgh, PA – Adult retailer and entertainment website Adult Empire has launched an all-new website, one that parent company Ravana says will enhance the user experience through a fully responsive design. That means visitors can expect an optimized experience regardless of their chosen viewing platform.
“There’s a massive shift in how people browse the Internet these days,” said Adult Empire’s Director of Marketing, Megan Wozniak. “Now that mobile searches have officially surpassed searches on a desktop computer, it has become necessary for your website to be ready for use across any screen.”
The company says it has seen a surge in sales after past optimizations for mobile users, proving the importance of paying attention to both the various desktop and mobile platforms when designing a retail website.
“We have been focused on mobile users as far back as 2010 when we launched our first retail mobile site,” said Lead Web Developer Daniel Chura. “Also, our Adult Empire Unlimited On Demand subscription service has been responsive since it was launched in 2013. All of our white label stores and theatres are responsive, as well as any membership site we build via our affiliate program AdultEmpireCash.com.”
While those past optimizations proved beneficial, the company’s primary retail site was never fully responsive until the latest update.
“Finally, being able to announce our flagship site AdultEmpire.com as 100% responsive is a credit to the work of our design team, in particular our lead designer Doug Graham,” adds Chura. “Doug has been shaping the look [of] our websites for almost 10 years and is always pushing the envelope with the latest trends and technologies. Doug was saying responsive when we developed our first mobile site 5 years ago.”
The new adaptive design is Android and iOS compatible, improves the payment process, adds search functionality and also adds screen adaptability.
“Responsive web design provides an optimal viewing experience that will adjust flawlessly across all devices, thus helping retain visitors to our site no matter how they choose to visit us,” says Wozniak.
