Artificial intelligence apps – and things created by AI apps – are everywhere you look these days, it seems. From being used not-so-successfully in court, to helping people write novels in record time, humans are starting to turn to AI for assistance with everything.

As such, I suppose it stands to reason that people would turn to AI for dating, as well. Not for ‘help’ with dating, mind you; I mean they are turning to AI as their dates.

Enter DreamGF, described as “a new, cutting-edge platform that is revolutionizing the dating industry with artificial intelligence.”

Honestly, I don’t remember it costing me anything to create my first two real-life girlfriends, as that price was shouldered (in more ways than one) by their parents. Of course, I also didn’t have a lot of “intimate moments” with my first two girlfriends either, so maybe on this single point of comparison, it’s Advantage: DreamGF?

“DreamGF opens up a new world of possibilities in the realm of relationships,” said Jeff Dillon, the Marketing Director at DreamGF. “We have refined the virtual dating experience so, for the very first time, users can build a genuine connection with their Dream Girlfriend based on shared interests, compatibility, and their individual desires.”

Yes, because nothing says “genuine connection” like programming your date to agree with you and share your interests!

DreamGF says it’s the “first platform that can detect requests within the chat and provides users with tailored photos and personalities in real time, as well as deepen the connection between users and their AI companions with voice and video messages from girlfriends.”

I have to admit, this does sound like a nice feature, since most of the voice and video messages I receive from my current and former girlfriends involve questions about when they’re going to get all that money I owe them.

DreamGF addes that the app is “poised to be the leading innovation when visualizing the future of companionship by way of artificial intelligence.” On the one hand, I don’t know what that means. On the other hand, now I do know the first question I’m going to ask my Dream Girlfriend! Or maybe I should start by asking her name? Or do I get to decide what her name is, too? So many questions.

In any case, DreamGF says that I can “discover the future of companionship in the immersive world” at DreamGF.ai, and “create a partner who is whatever you want, available whenever you want, and devoted to you forever.”

The only thing she won’t be, of course, is real. Or a woman. Or possessing of physical form. But, other than those minor little details, yes – she’ll be the perfect girlfriend.
