Los Angeles, CA  – The third annual Sexual Health Expo , the premiere sexual health event in the U.S., concluded this weekend with record LA attendance and a rare appearance by legendary Dr. Ruth Westheimer, the iconic sexual health educator, who delivered a keynote address on sexual literacy.

SHE Media, publisher of Sexual Health magazine and producer of the Sexual Health Expo, bestowed upon Dr. Ruth the event’s first ever Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in the advocacy of sexual health and wellness.

Said Dr. Ruth, “I was delighted to get the very first Lifetime Achievement Award from Sexual Health magazine. I’m going to put it in a place of honor in my home. I hope that as a result of this expo many other people pursue their dream of getting into the field of sexuality education. The Sexual Health Expo is doing a very good job in providing the public with much needed information.”

The Sexual Health Expo took place at the California Market Center in Downtown Los Angeles during the weekend of February 4-5.

Sexual Health Expo is an upscale event that puts a stylish touch on sex education, anchored by workshops hosted by top “Sexperts,” along with more than 60 exhibitors demonstrating the latest, most innovative and cutting-edge sex toys and pleasure products. The biannual expo and conference empowers its diverse attendee base to immerse themselves in all the benefits of a healthy sex life. During the event, top authors, educators, lecturers and entrepreneurs from around the world presented workshops and discussions across the full spectrum of sexual wellness.
