Domino Presley Returns as The TEA’s Mistress of Ceremonies
Multi-award winning performer Domino Presley takes the reigns again as the Transgender Erotica Awards’ Mistress of Ceremonies. This will be her second year hosting the TEAs, which take place on March 15, 2020, at the historic Avalon in Hollywood, CA.
“WHAM! BAM! I’m back again! I am beyond excited and grateful to be back hosting the 2020 Transgender Erotica Awards,” said Presley. “As I’ve always said before, the TEA Show is like a reunion for me and marks another year of hard work in the adult industry. This year is exceptionally big for me because it marks one decade of my career as Domino Presley, second year as a director, and first full year as a talent manager.”
Presley first debuted on GroobyGirls.com (known as ShemaleYum.com at the time), then skyrocketed into stardom. In 2017, she accomplished another career milestone by directing her first movie, Domino Presley’s House of Whores.
“This year will be a little easier for me since I’ve been planning out what I’m going to wear and what I’ll do any say since the day after last year’s awards,” she added. “Obviously I’ll be wearing another custom Chris Tyler gown that he and I designed together as well as Custom jewelry by Drag Race sponsor Elea’s Closet. Honestly, I just can’t express how grateful I am that Steven was pleased enough with my hosting skills last year that he asked me back even though I moved all the way across the country back to good ol’ Georgia.”
“Steven and I wanted Domino back as our Mistress of Ceremonies pretty much the moment she stepped on stage during last year’s show,” said TEA Executive Producer, Kristel Penn. “She has such a dynamic presence and knows how to command the show. As someone who has been such an integral part of the trans adult industry and its growth in the last decade, Domino was the natural choice for this job.”
Presley stated, “I’m very excited to see what everyone wears this year (last year the attendees and nominees really stepped it up) and who wins what. It’s just amazing that we have such a fabulous and classy award show for the trans performers who put in so much work every year to keep creating top-notch content. I would like to see more performers from outside the trans industry and in mainstream come to show support and network. Don’t just show your support online, show up in-person, boo.”
