NEW YORK – Filmmaker Dominic Ford has released what he and his eponymous studio believe is the first gay adult video filmed in the new 4K ultra-high-resolution format to hit the market.

Shot in both 3D and 4K, the 21-minute, explicit romp stars Nick Cross and Tommy Defendi. If for no other reason, the scene is notable for the performers’ enthusiastic acrobatics. A not-safe-for-work (unless you work in porn) trailer is here.

The scene also represents Defendi’s first work for the studio.

“We are excited to be the first gay porn company to release 4K footage,” said Ford. “It’s fitting with our tradition of being the first company to take advantage of new technology.”

Ford is best known for pioneering 3D gay porn and spoofing mainstream blockbusters.

DominicFord.com, the studio’s online home, offers an affiliate program paying a 50-percent recurring revenue share through CCBill.
