Los Angeles, CA – DomCon Los Angeles exceeded expectations as it celebrated 15 years of supporting the international BDSM community. Current estimates show the overall attendance to be about 2000.

“We print day badges based on the previous year’s attendance plus expectations for growth. This year, we ran out of day badges for Friday and Saturday and had to improvise to meet demand,” said Mistress Cyan, Founder and Organizer for DomCon. “Tickets to all our evening events such as the Saturday night Fetish Ball with Masuimi Max, Emily Marilyn and Embrace Chaos sold out.”

The convention was sponsored by Sybian, Stockroom, Whplr, Kink.com, AVN and many more. “We had a great time working with Mistress Cyan and her staff,” said Bunny Lampert of Sybian. “The exhibitors and participants gave us a wonderful welcome. Everyone at DomCon gets excited over the Sybian and loves our new Venus for men! We can’t wait to show at DomCon New Orleans this fall.”

Setting standards and trends, Geeky and Kinky pins showed off several new designs, including a special edition Mistress Cyan pin just for this event. Vendor Downtown Willy debuted military caps made with colorful and exotic fabrics. Attendees bought out most of his stock quickly and he was down to a handful by Friday night. Nix of Firebird Leather experienced similar results with the premiere of her lazer-cut Femdom art earrings and necklaces to go along with her hand crafted floggers, collars and cuffs.

And of course, everywhere you went at the expo, you would find someone in latex, leather or fetish gear, ready to have fun. The Saturday group shot of Dominatrixes, switches and subs clad in their finest keeps getting bigger every year. This time, in true Domina fashion, photographers and supporters got in on the act by bowing on their knees before the women of the convention for a group shot.

“I had such a fantastic event,” an attendee posted on Fetlife. “I want to thank everyone who was a part of my weekend. There were so many lovely people bringing their own special energy and grace to the event, which is what made it so magical for me.”
