Doc Johnson Partners with “Love & Hip Hop” Star Karlie Redd
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – In another example of the worlds of mainstream and adult entertainment converging, pleasure products manufacturer Doc Johnson announced yesterday a new partnership with Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta star Karlie Redd. As reported by TMZ, Redd was molded for her signature “Main Squeeze” stroker last week.
In addition to modeling for products like the stroker, Doc Johnson said Redd will also take on the role of being the company’s “resident sexpert” as well as issuing a curated set of products called “Karlie Redd’s Box.”
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Karlie in the past, she’s always been incredibly passionate with anything she takes on and is a wonderful person to work alongside,” said Thao Dipolito, Marketing Manager for Doc Johnson. “The multi-levels of our partnership including Karlie signing on as our newest addition to our Main Squeeze collection was no exception. The news of getting molded has already received an overwhelming response from her fans and I’m so excited that we get to work together again.”
According to Doc Johnson’s statement, Redd recently “completed an extensive program to become a certified sexologist as a way to better answer the many sex and relationship questions she gets asked by her fans on a regular basis.”
Redd’s official blog with Doc Johnson is scheduled to launch within the next few weeks, which will serve as a “platform for Redd to speak on the wealth of information she’s learned on her journey.” In the meantime, Redd has a product recommendations page which consists of products she has mentioned on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta.
“I’m so thrilled to be partnering with Doc Johnson, they’ve always been my go-to when it comes to the sex toys I choose personally,” said Redd. “I was first approached by them to collaborate on a line of products, I felt like it only made sense that I take things to the next level and get molded too! Redd will be going on the road later this month to participate in various panel discussions, starting with one in Miami, Florida. According to Doc Johnson’s press release, Redd will be “incorporating her favorite Doc Johnson branded products into these talks all of which will be readily available on her sex toy recommendations page.”
The company added that Redd’s fans will “play an integral role in determining what best-selling Doc Johnson products will be chosen for Karlie Redd’s Box via the popularity of the sex & relationship questions she is asked.”
