Distributor Donates to Children’s Charity Project
PHOENIX – The International Lingerie Show trade gatherings give manufacturers, distributors and retailers an opportunity to form new relationships and renew existing bonds.
The shows also allow companies to come together in support of charitable causes. After the Spring 2016 ILS, for example, boutique distributor Entrenue donated $1,000 to the in-hospital arts program Children’s Healing Art Project. The donation was made on behalf of Spartacus Leathers, which won the distributor’s show-floor raffle.
Entrenue established its semi-annual raffle several years ago as part of the company’s dedication to community support and service, inviting customers to enter for the chance to select a special charity to receive a $1,000 donation. Since the raffle’s debut, Entrenue has donated thousands on behalf of its customers. Spartacus Leathers’ Rob Delevere selected CHAP after learning of a friend’s young daughter’s therapeutic experience with the unique pediatric arts program.
“Our loyal customers are personally connected to an amazing array of organizations dedicated to bettering the lives of people and children in need, and it’s been such a pleasure to share the charity raffle experience with them,” Entrenue President Joe Casella said. “The team and I are inspired by the stories and motivations behind each winner’s choice, and it’s an honor to collaborate to make a positive effect on our community.
“CHAP provides an amazing respite for children and families encountering medical challenges through the power of art, and we’re happy to support their healing efforts with this donation,” Casella added.
