LOS ANGELES – Tony Dillinger has found a new use for 3D printing: He’s using the technology to create a line of collectible figurines modeled after porn stars.

Dillinger Dolls by CoKreeate are created from up-close-and-personal 3D scans of performers and then printed with exacting detail. Ranging from four inches tall to 11 inches tall, each is mounted on a stylish, autographed base and covered with a dome. Dillinger believes producing the figurines in numbered limited editions that come complete with certificates of authenticity will make the dolls a sought-after collector’s item among fans — which will make them a profitable item for performers to sell online and at personal appearances.

“We want to offer the models something new and innovative to offer their fans besides the basic 8x10s and DVDs,” said Dillinger, a director and the owner of Dillinger Studios818. “The Dillinger Doll collection really adds something new and exciting to the model’s arsenal of promotional products and is sure to be a game changer.”

Dillinger’s first doll is a replica of Colombian porn star Lisa Daniels. Her figurine comes in 6-inch topless and non-topless limited editions and was presented this year at the 2016 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo. Daniels also offers the item in her online store.
