Digital Playground Unveils First Hi-Def, PSP and iPod Trailers
CYBERSPACE – Digital Playground has announced delivery of movie trailers in High Definition, as well as for playback, on the video iPod and PSP gaming device.“We’ve been shooting everything in HD for over 2 years and the playback technology is finally available to Web consumers,” said Joone, founder of Digital Playground. “I’m excited to show our customers the visual difference using a medium with greater resolution.”
According to a company press release, including the Hi-Def versions, Digital Playground now offers 70 movie trailers; all of them are available for use with video iPod and PSP.
Additionally, users of both iTunes and video iPod can subscribe to a ‘Podcast’ containing all 70 trailers, or they can choose to download select trailers, one at a time. All trailer options, HD, PSP and iPod have been operating on the ‘Pirates’website, http://www.piratesxxx.com/, for the last two months.
“The future of entertainment lies in HD and we have been preparing for this transition for years,” said Digital Playground President Samantha Lewis. “With Blue-Ray launching this spring, our customers can get a glimpse of how this new format will enhance their viewing experience.”
