Derek Meklir Named VP, COO at LFP
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Adult industry veteran Derek Meklir has been named executive vice president and chief operating officer for LFP Inc. and Flynt Management Group LLC, Hustler’s corporate parent announced Wednesday.
Meklir previously spent five years with LFP competitor Playboy Enterprises, where he most recently served as vice president–strategic partnerships. In that position, he managed Playboy’s partnership with Manwin, which operates television, radio and online properties for Playboy. Meklir also helped develop Playboy’s digital magazine strategy.
“Derek is the perfect addition to our management team,” LFP/FMG President Michael H. Klein said. “His experience in product management, business development, partner relationships and multiple delivery platforms will serve us well.”
Prior to Playboy, Meklir spent six years as vice president for business development and marketing at SK Intertainment Inc. SKI is the parent company of MrSkin.com and associated affiliate program, books and other media endeavors. Before SKI, Meklir held management positions at Vantage Associates and Globix Corporation.
