Dentists: The New Porn Pizza Guy?

YNOT – Two female dental assistants in Wichita, Kan., have filed a federal lawsuit accusing a pediatric dentist of office shenanigans that would make an adult studio proud.
The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, alleges David Brown, DDS, watched pornographic videos in front of partially sedated patients, kept pictures of naked women in his office and discussed women’s genitals and sexual habits with unwilling staff members, according to The Wichita Eagle. Ruby Anderson and Kasmira Smith also accuse Brown of offering Smith money to have sex with a co-worker.
The women named Matthew Healy and Stephen Moore, Brown’s partners in Children’s Dentistry of Wichita, as respondents in the suit. Court documents claim the three men often gathered in the clinic’s lunchroom to discuss sex acts, positions and preferences in front of staff members who did not care to hear the discussions.
Documents filed with the court also allege Brown carried on an affair with a third female assistant and dropped trou in the reception area for her pleasure while the rest of the office staff looked on. The pair reportedly locked themselves in Brown’s office for frequent trysts, after which Brown did not wash or sanitize his hands before seeing patients, court documents note.
Anderson and Smith said they asked Brown to curtail his inappropriate behavior, but their demands fell on deaf ears. Both women call the clinic a hostile work environment and said their experiences negatively affected their mental and physical health, resulting in headaches, anxiety, depression, insomnia and emotional distress that continued even after they resigned their positions in October 2011.
The lawsuit requests unspecified financial damages. No trial date has been set.
