YNOT – Under the heading “this kind of thing is no longer news”: The 18-year-old former Miss Delaware Teen USA who relinquished her crown Tuesday amid rumors she appeared in a porno flick has received an offer from an adult entertainment company.

Melissa King continues to deny she is the woman who appears in a five-minute explicit video posted online, despite the anonymous performer’s on-camera revelation that she is a frequent beauty pageant contestant whose birthday corresponds with King’s.

Never shy about jumping on an opportunity for shameless self-promotion, YouPorn.com fired off a letter offering King $250,000 and the title of Miss YouPorn.

“As you now know, there is nothing more popular than a story involving ex-beauty pageant contestants doing porn,” Marketing Director Brandon Burns wrote in the missive, a copy of which — surprise! — was obtained by E! News. “We believe this story will only catapult your career and could really expose you to an entirely different audience. Many famous directors and producers frequent our site daily…. I am sure through your travels with us as Miss YouPorn, you will meet a lot of incredible people and see the world.”

Neither King nor her representatives have acknowledged Burns’ letter.

Miss Delaware Teen USA officials confirmed receipt of King’s resignation Tuesday, at about the same time more damning details surrounding the video began to circulate on Twitter and other social media. Among the most likely to raise eyebrows: The video reportedly was lensed before King’s Miss Delaware Teen USA win but after she snagged the crown of Miss Delaware Teen International in November 2012.
