Dating Site to Donate to Breast Cancer Research
WYOMING, Del. – Any way one looks at them, breast cancer statistics are alarming, particularly with federal funds for women’s healthcare and cancer screenings under attack by the U.S. Congress and state legislatures. That’s why Sponsor Humanity Investments LLC, the owner and operator of dating site SponsorForMe.com, has vowed to donate a percentage of all membership fees generated through the end of October to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the U.S. According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, the disease is the second leading cause of death among women: 40,000 women die of breast cancer each year. One of every eight women will be diagnosed with the disease during her lifetime, but with early diagnosis and treatment, 98 percent of patients can go on to live long lives.
Men also develop breast cancer, but much less frequently. While about 200,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in women annually and 40,000 women die, about 2,000 new cases of male breast cancer are diagnosed and 400 men die.
“SponsorForMe.com has always been the most female-centric sugar daddy-type site, and our members have been very good to us,” said spokesperson Joan Brown. “So it only made sense to support an important cause such as breast cancer research.”
SponsorForMe sets itself apart from traditional “sugar daddy” dating sites by appealing to a younger demographic of men and women in the real world instead targeting the usual “aging millionaires and high-priced escorts” fantasy. Members hail from the U.S., Canada, Australia and the UK.
The site’s independent affiliate program, backed by CCBill, pays a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
