Dating Factory Acquires Leading German Dating Platform
YNOT – As a part of an ongoing internationalization program, private-label dating provider Dating Factory has acquired German white-label platform Cross Dating. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“This acquisition continues our strategy of international expansion and is a great opportunity for us to increase our footprint in the German-speaking markets,” said Dating Factory Chief Executive Officer Tanya Fathers. “Cross Dating’s long experience and excellent performance convinced us that they are the perfect match. We look forward to welcoming their partners to our network, and our team is ready to answer any questions they might have.”
Fathers also said she expects all existing Cross Dating partner sites to be integrated into the Dating Factory system by the end of March 2013. Going forward, all new registrations will be accepted only on the Dating Factory platform.
Since Cross Dating’s launch in 2011, the brand’s software-as-a-service solution has attracted more than 1,400 partners in the German-speaking market. The brand is Germany’s leading white-label dating provider.
“This merger creates tremendous opportunities to build on the successes that each company has achieved individually,” said Lutz Obermann, founder of Cross Dating. “Dating Factory is the definite leader in the white-label dating market, and the combination of Dating Factory’s advanced technology and our local expertise in the [German-speaking] market creates a unique white-label dating service. This merger will provide our existing partners with access to innovative new technology, as well as a multimillion global database [of users].”
Both co-founders, Obermann and Marcel Knass, will remain with the company as country manager and product manager, respectively.
Established in 2009, Dating Factory is an international white-label dating platform with over 12,000 partners worldwide. DatingFactory.com operates in 18 languages and supports 42 niches.
