Cybernet Expo Kicks Off in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA – Cybernet Expo kicked off Monday at the Shelter Pointe Hotel in San Diego, California. The three-day event is an annual gathering of adult internet professionals, and it features seminars, networking opportunities and evening parties.Scheduled to speak at this year’s event are adult stars Brittany Andrews, Dave Cummings, and former star turned industry activist Bill Margold. Also scheduled to speak is controversial filmmaker Rob Black from Extreme Associates, the target of a recent government obscenity prosecution.
Representatives from the Free Speech Coalition will also be on hand to discuss hot industry topics like the new 2257 regulations and the possible new “.xxx” top-level domain name.
The show starts Monday morning with a 10:30 orientation seminar, to be followed by a discussion of “Niche/Fetish” marketing and online technical security issues. Monday’s round of seminars will end with a “Legal Q & A” session with attorney Eric M. Bernstein, followed by a brand new topic for this year: “Webmaster Psychology.” Prizes will be given out throughout the day at the various seminars.
Evening activities on Monday will include a “Cruisin’ Corridor” event, which is an opportunity for attendees to meet with a select group of industry companies and pick up some free giveaways, and the highly-anticipated Webmaster Poker Tour tournament, which kicks off at 9:00 pm PDT.
Cybernet will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday with more industry-focused seminars and networking events.
