Cybernet Expo Focuses on Good Times and Good Business
YNOT – With just over two months to go before the Cybernet Expo 2010, organizers have revealed more about the educational and entertainment lineup. The show will feature three days of intensive training classes, industry insider panel discussions and unique in-show and after-hours networking opportunities. Among the most highly anticipated educational sessions are “Effective Adult Website Design,” “Search Engine Optimization for Adult Websites,” “Adult Marketing in the Age of Twitter,” “Blogging for Dollars” and a photography class with a live photo-shoot component. All are hands-on events dedicated to giving attendees the skills they need to operate their businesses and increase revenues.
As for entertainment, D-Money’s “Rock the Ball” concert is set to return, and the immensely popular “Kink in the Castle” event hosted at Kink.com headquarters will close out Cybernet Expo with kinky style.
“I have been to trade shows and conferences where I felt the seminars weren’t very useful, so we go out of our way to ensure that our classes and panel discussions feature expert instructors and speakers who really get the technology of the adult Internet business,” said YNOT Network President Connor Young. YNOT presents Cybernet Expo. “We pick topics that really matter to this industry, and we work hand-in-hand with our experts to make sure the right information is provided to attendees. I think that’s why we attract a good number of independent affiliates as well as larger companies.
“That said, we still know how to have a really good time — as anyone who has ever been to D-Money’s Rock the Ball or the closing night Kink in the Castle event can confirm,” he added.
For the third year in a row, the show is scheduled to take over San Francisco’s Golden Gateway Hotel July 8-10.
“Moving the show to San Francisco [from Florida] was really a great move for Cybernet Expo,” Young said. “Sure, our industry is about sex and beautiful women and parties — but it’s also about technology, and San Francisco is at the heart of America’s technology industry.
“If you haven’t been to San Francisco before, then take my advice and plan to come early or stay later,” he continued. “The city really is one of the best in the nation; there’s just so much to do and see. The food is incredible — everyone knows that. Last year a group of attendees took a trip out to Alcatraz island and had a great time. I grew up close to San Francisco, so I’m always pleased to come home, so to speak, for Cybernet Expo.”
“Early Bird” registration for Cybernet Expo will close at the end of day on Friday, making this week the last chance for attendees to save 50 percent off at-the-door registration prices. Through Friday, an all-access, three-day is just $99 per attendee.
“Every year quite a few attendees wait until the last minute to take advantage of Early Bird pricing, so it’s our job to make sure as many people as possible know when that last minute has arrived,” Young said. “This is the last chance for what will be the cheapest prices for show registration. Taking advantage of Early Bird registration is just one more way companies and individuals can reduce costs without sacrificing a single benefit of attending the longest-running business show for adult internet professionals.”
So far the response has been extremely positive to the new online registration process, which was implemented for this year’s show.
“We made it so much easier for attendees to register online this time out, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the feedback we’re getting about the new online registration system,” Young said. “Now you can register one person, a group of people, and even log back in later to look up the details of your registration.”
Cybernet Expo offers guaranteed lowest rates for attendees who book their Golden Gateway hotel rooms through the link on the Cybernet Expo website, or who mention the group code “CSX” when calling the hotel directly.
“We only have a limited number of rooms at the reduced group rate, so they really are on a first-come, first-served basis,” explained Young. “We highly recommend that attendees book their rooms immediately to avoid paying more later on.”
The 2010 show in San Francisco has received support from an array of top companies in the adult internet space.
According to YNOT Vice President Jay “LAJ” Kopita, eMerchantPay has made a big investment for 2010, picking up the top Diamond Partner position. HotMovies.com grabbed a Platinum Sponsor package, while PussyCash.com, attorney Eric M. Bernstein, RIV Cash and Dating Gold all signed on for the Gold Sponsor package. This year’s Silver Sponsors include KiwiSourcing.com, Stockroom.com, JuicyAds.com, Ero-Advertising, Smart Mobile Services and FreeOnes.com. Exhibitors will be announced closer to the show dates.
Kopita pointed out that prices for exhibit tables at this year’s “Show & Sell” market on July 10 have been reduced substantially to make participation easy for any company.
“We wanted to make it really easy for companies to exhibit at our show, no matter their budget, because we really do feel that more participation is beneficial to everyone,” Kopita explained. “A table at our Show & Sell Market is just $495, and that includes a show badge plus wireless internet access if you need it. Some shows charge more than $500 just for internet access.
“Contact me directly if you’re interested in an exhibit table at the show that invented this style of one-day exhibiting, or even in a larger presence for your company at Cybernet Expo,” he added.
Companies interested in sponsoring or exhibiting may contact Kopita by email, by ICQ at 92418228 or by phone at (512) 388-1728.
