Cybernet Expo Announces Upcoming June Show, Exclusivity at Shelter Pointe
SAN DIEGO, CA – Cybernet Expo has announced that Cybernet Expo 2006 will once again be held at the Shelter Pointe Hotel in San Diego, CA, and this year the Expo attendees will have full run of the hotel.“After another phenomenal showing last year, The Shelter Pointe gave us an offer we couldn’t refuse, so we decided to have Cybernet Expo in San Diego for a third year,” Cybernet owner Fay Sharp said in a company press release. “We found the Shelter Pointe staff to be extremely welcoming to our group and always interested in working with us on everything. I anticipate that 2006 will be another great year and I encourage all industry veterans, newbies and first time attendees to check us out!”
YNOT.com’s LAJ, who assists Sharp with organizing and marketing the Expo, said that getting full exclusivity from the hotel was not just desirable, but necessary.
“It makes it easier when you have the entire hotel,” LAJ said. “It just minimizes problems when it’s only us. Plus we need the rooms – we ran out last year.”
On its peak day last year, LAJ said 700 people turned out, and he expects similar volume this year, making Cybernet one of the best-attended industry shows, after the bi-annual Internext conferences.
Show sponsorship slots are filling fast, but several high-profile opportunities remain, including corporate sponsorship packages, the hospitality sponsorship, and poolside cabana sponsorships. Sponsors who have already committed include PussyCash, RealityCash, PluginFeeds, WebCamCash, FTV Cash, HotMovies, HomegrownCash, Sunny Dollars, and Eric M. Bernstein and Associates.
In addition to the seminars, a variety of parties and other events are in the works. Already announced are another stop for the Porn Poker Tour, sponsored by CamZ, Netbilling, PluginFeeds and Sammy Smack, and a “White Trash Bash,” sponsored by SmashBucks, Adult Friend Finder, Jupiter Hosting and Cams.com.
According to the Cybernet press release, online “early bird” registration will officially open in January 2006. For more information about the sponsorship opportunities, visit http://www.cybernetexpo.com/ or contact Fay at fsharp@swfla.rr.com or LAJ at jay@ynot.com.
