UK — The voice of Hole has never been a shrinking violet afraid to speak her mind, dress as trashy or as flashy as she likes, or show as little or as much of her body as strikes her fancy. Nonetheless, she’s spurned all attempts to get her splendidly bitchy nakedness into a men’s magazine in spite of the fact she appeared nude in 1996 while playing Hustler magazine founder Larry Flynt’s wild and tragically beloved wife, Althea in the critically acclaimed film The People vs. Larry Flynt. She’s been more generous with her nudity for non-adult publications, however.The most recent non one-on-one sampling of Courtney Love’s nakedness can be found in British fashion magazine Pop, while will hit the stands later this month. The bi-annual publication will feature Love’s 42-year-old sexiness as it was seen during a photo shoot in Ibiza.

According to copious online buzz, Love’s photos show her in an assortment of nude and semi-nude photos designed to be both tantalizing yet modest. In one photo, for instance, she stands with legs spread wearing nothing but “strappy designer panties,” while another finds her utterly nude, but hidden behind her curled up knees.

Love, who is the infamous widow of grunge rock god Kurt Cobain and believes that being given LSD at a four-year-old “freed” her mind, is also promoting Dirty Blonde: The Diaries of Courtney Love, her new book, compiled from her private journals.
