Court Rules Unsolicited Mobile Cock Shots Not Cool
SONDERSHAUSEN, GERMANY — Women seeking dates, mates, or just a good time via online match-up sites are painfully familiar with the more-than-occasional cock shot that serves as an introduction for perhaps too many men hoping to have a “good time.” But when graphic genital photos are sent via mobile phone from a total stranger, that’s not just unexpected – it’s generally unwelcome and a little scary. That’s essentially what a German court concluded when it convicted a 21-year-old man of sending images of his throbbing manhood to a woman he’d never met, by dialing up her cell phone number and uploading the unsolicited binary.
Christian Kropp, the presiding judge in the case, admitted that “We all had a bit of a laugh when we saw the thing,” which probably didn’t make the offending party or his offending part feel any better, although it may have provided some satisfaction to target of his unwanted attention.
The incident was brought to authority’s attention when a woman contacted the police and provided them with both the graphic photo attachment and the sender’s phone number. Officials suspect that she was not the first or only woman to receive an unexpected and unwanted peek inside the man’s trousers.
Although the man, who was ordered to pay a $220 fine for distributing pornographic material, never explained his actions – he did indicate regret. Whether that stems from remorse for being inappropriate or from having his dangly bits laughed at in court is unknown.
