Controversial Peters Twins Retire
YNOT – When George Duroy’s BelAmi introduced Milo and Elijah Peters in 2009, about one-third of the fans of gay adult entertainment gasped in mortification, another third tittered at the studio’s audacity, and the remainder drooled. Real-life twins who had sex with each other on screen? Scandalous!
The notorious Peters twins’ first explicit scene together was delayed for six months while BelAmi wrestled with legalities in the U.S. and the UK. That scene, billed as “The Ultimate Taboo Finally Broken,” increased BelAmiOnline.com’s membership by 25 percent overnight, according to the studio’s publicist.
The following year, Taboo, the first full-length film in which the boys pulled no sexual punches, shipped. It became the studio’s best-selling title of 2010, selling more than 20,000 copies.
Since then, the Czech twins — real-life brothers who share absolutely everything — have become a household name. Their movies and scenes remain among the most popular in BelAmi’s library and continue to sell well.
Less than three years after their debut, the Peters twins retired last week …but not before ensuring a series of parting shots was in the can at BelAmi.
“BelAmi’s Peters twins are without doubt a porn phenomenon,” the studio’s publicist said. “They are still young guys and feel it’s time to focus 100 percent on their studies and their future outside adult world — a move BelAmi has always been supportive of and one [the studio] has helped facilitate.
“[The twins’] final four scenes are slated to be released in coming months, with the final scene featuring only the two of them,” he continued. “It will remind people why they became such a big deal in the first place.”
In the meantime, the studio has posted a two-part threesome scene featuring the twins with BelAmi exclusive Dario Dolce. Affiliates will find marketing materials in their admin areas at BelAmi Cash, which pays 50-percent recurring revenue share on membership sales.
