Colin Farrell Sex Tape Website Shuts Down
CYBERSPACE – A website purporting to offer the Colin Farrell explicit sex video has been shut down for violating a court order blocking distribution of the video, pending the outcome of Farrell’s lawsuit against ex-girlfriend and former Playboy model, Nicole Narain, with whom Farrell made the sex tape.Farrell filed suit in a Los Angeles Superior Court last July, seeking to restrain his ex-lover from releasing the video, which the couple apparently made about 3 years ago.
Farrell has acknowledged that he willingly participated in the creation of the tape, but has said that he and Narain agreed the footage would remain private, which Farrell said was strictly for their own use, and never intended for commercial distribution.
The website in question, dirtycolin.com, allegedly stated, “Colin tried to stop us from showing you this. Well, here it is anyway.” The site was reportedly charging $14.95 to view the footage.
Meanwhile, the legal battle between Farrell and Narain continues, with Narain and the Internet Commerce Group (ICG), an online distributor of adult videos, seeking the right to distribute the video through ICG’s HollywoodSexTapes.com website.
“We believe that Ms. Narain is entitled to exercise her copyright per federal statutes, and we hope that the court will clear the way for the tape to be released soon,” said Sal Abbate, CEO of ICG, in a statement released Monday.
