Clips4Sale Legal Zone Webinar Returns Monday
TAMPA, Fla. – The Clips4Sale Legal Zone webinar is slated to return Monday, May 18 at 4 pm EST/1 pm PST, to provide updates on a variety of current legal topics that are important to the adult industry.
Hosted by Clips4Sale founder and leader Neil and attorney Corey D. Silverstein with special guest attorney Lawrence Walters, the May 18 edition of the Clips4Sale Legal Zone will focus on SBA loans for COVID-19 and the adult industry, including two injunctions against the SBA in cases brought by community businesses in Wisconsin and Michigan.
The webinar will also include an update on AB 2389, California’s controversial “Sex Worker Permit” bill, which “would prohibit adult entertainers and performers from working in adult or producing content until they receive a certificate of training completion,” according to a Clips4Sale Legal Zone release describing the upcoming show. The announcement added that “AB 2389 seems to be dead for now due to COVID-19, and Corey has some interesting thoughts on the bill’s future.”
The other two topics up for discussion are during the show are “the use of drugs and/or alcohol on set before and after shoots and during live broadcasts” and the EARN IT Act (“Eliminating Abusive and Rampant Neglect of Interactive Technologies” Act).
The webinar will run 60-minutes with a live Q&A throughout, so viewers are encouraged to have their questions ready.
“We have a ton of topics to discuss in this edition, and you don’t want to miss it,” said Clips4Sale’s Neil. “We’re here to help studios and models navigate through some of the legal issues they might be having and give them the answers they need.”
