Chris Alex Wins YNOT GP Phoenix Forum Race for 3rd Straight Year
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – For the third consecutive year, hometown competitor Chris Alex of Way3 Hosting has taken home first place in the YNOT Grand Prix’s Phoenix Forum race – despite not having driven a kart since last year’s YNOT GP, according to Alex.
Alex clocked in with a best-lap time of 28.045, while Sin VR took second (28.698) and Kool-Aid grabbed third place (28.772).
YNOT co-owner and YNOT GP organizer Jay Kopita said that “everything was very smooth this year” with the race.
“A lot of models attended and many drove as well,” Kopita said. “Unfortunately, even with how aggressive some were as drivers, none made it into the final 10 for the trophies. Everyone seemed to have a blast though, and it was a very nice mix of people and many new faces this year. All told, it was an amazing kick-off party for the Phoenix Forum.”
Kopita added that he was very pleased with the attendance of the event – and with the fact that just about everyone who came stayed for the duration.
Kopita added that a special thanks is in order for YNOT GP’s sponsors – JuicyAds, BongaCash, International Processing Solution and Gaming Adult – for providing transportation, food and beverages for the event.
“We couldn’t do this event without our sponsors, who have provided so much support for the YNOT Grand Prix over its 10-year run,” Kopita said. “I’m already looking forward to the next race, which will take place at The European Summit in Prague this September.”
