Cheerleading Coach Fired Over Playboy Pictorial
ORANGEVALE, CA — A high school cheerleading coach who appeared nude in the pages of Playboy magazine has been fired.Carlie Christine lost her Casa Robles High School job because parents complained about the example Christine’s centerfold status set for their daughters. Christine also was named Playboy.com’s “cyber girl of the week.”
“The girls are supposed to look up their coaches,” one concerned, if anonymous, parent told local television station CBS13.
“I was in shock that I knew the girls had seen it and knew about it,” another anonymous parent said.
According to a third, “The whole football team has seen it.”
Her own students exposed Christine’s shameless behavior after rumors began circulating at the school, according to the TV report. Cheerleader parents made copies of the images and dropped them on the principal’s desk, demanding the coach be terminated. They also kept their daughters out of school until the coach was gone.
Not everyone at the school was scandalized.
“I think it’s unacceptable [that Christine was fired],” one student told the television station. “It’s not fair.”
