Charlotte Stokely Joins Cupcake Girls as ‘Community Activator’
Venice, CA – Charlotte Stokely has joined the Cupcake Girls as a “Community Activator” — just in time for the organization’s annual fundraiser, which kicked off this Sunday.
“I am proud to work with Cupcake Girls as a Community Activator,” Stokely said. “I look forward to raising money and spreading the word to sex workers looking for assistance. Many performers still don’t know they exist and knowing they are here to help can literally save lives.”
Cupcake Girls is is a non-profit sex worker support organization that provides assistance in the forms of therapy, medical help, food and legal support.
The organization offers therapy that is either free or at $10 per session or will help the worker find someone to provide services. They assist in finding free or low-priced medical care in the worker’s area. They help workers in need buy food, pay rent and other basic services. They have a mentorship program with bimonthly check-ins. They will also provide legal services to help stop sex trafficking, obtain restraining orders and more. No additional details regarding Stokely’s role as a Community Activator were provided.
