YNOT — Hiring strippers to play at bachelor parties is nothing new. But imagine if you could hire the entire strip club experience – and push it even further than what you can get in the VIP?That’s the concept behind Centerfold Strips Entertainment (www.centerfoldstrips.com). It will brining male and female strippers to wherever you want – and provide entertainment that isn’t allowed in strip clubs in many states.

To get the details, we spoke with Centerfold Strip spokesman Danny.

YNOT.com: Please tell us about Centerfold strippers. What is the concept?

Danny: Centerfold Strips was established fifteen years ago. We are a nationwide adult entertainment agency that provides male and female exotic dancers to private events like bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, bridal showers, frat parties, super bowl parties, etc. We are available for private shows for any occasion, at any location. We bring the strip club to you.

Our centerfold models perform in the privacy of your home, office, hotel room, or one of our luxury, fully stocked super stretch limousines. That’s right limousines – we are the innovators of the “strip club limo,” the strip club on wheels. We provide our clients with a brand new limousine bus that is fully stocked with a bar, plasma TVs, surround sound stereo, leather couches, a bathroom and even a stripper pole.

We also go to restaurants, motels, bars, yachts, catering halls, nightclubs, firehouses, or any location.

YNOT.com: How did the company come about?

Danny: At the time I was working in a different industry (not adult related). My friend has suggested that I start this type of business and my initial reaction was, “Are you crazy?” He had some prior experience running his own company, so he was able to mentor me. I entered cautiously into the business “dipping my toes in the water” at first, and it was really an overnight success. I have a strong business background, specializing in marketing and the business just took off. We started in the New York metro area, and have since expanded nationwide. We also received a lot of great exposure from the media – The Howard Stern Show, Maxim Magazine, Playboy.com, The E! Channel, The Wall Street Journal and many others, which really helped propel us forward.

YNOT.com: What is the appeal of “bringing the strip club to the client?”

Danny: There are several benefits of having the strippers at your location, as opposed to a strip club. 1. Cost. At a strip club costs can add up quickly – you have valet parking, cover charge, food, exorbitant drink prices, lap dance fees and tips. When you host the party at your own venue you can keep the costs significantly lower by providing your own food beverage and hiring private dancers. 2. Lap dances and nudity. Many strip clubs are regulated by zoning laws, therefore the dancers may only be able to dance topless or even worse, in a bikini. Centerfold Strips exotic dancers can perform a full nude strip and even a lesbian show because there are no restrictions on private property. Also most lap dances at strip clubs, also because of city ordinances, are really “air dances” – the girls have to remain a certain amount of feet away from the client with NO contact. Centerfold Strips exotic dancers provide full nude, full contact lap dances.

YNOT.com: You have a wide variety of entertainers. Please give us a rundown of the variety you offer, and who the target audiences are.

Danny: The male and female stripper are our mainstay, however the novelty entertainers are becoming more popular lately – especially the midget strippers (or little people strippers to be PC). Most of the bookings for the male and female strippers are for bachelor parties and bachelorette parties. They also perform at birthday parties, frat and sorority parties, graduations, and super bowl parties. Our demographic for the strippers are usually males and females 18-40.

As mentioned earlier, the midget strippers and dwarf strippers are extremely popular now. The response has been unprecedented. Since we started booking little people entertainers in 2005, we have been inundated with requests to book them. We are now getting almost more calls and requests for little people strippers than regular size exotic dancers. The logic behind this new trend is two-fold. Most people have already hired and experienced regular size strippers, so they are looking to do something different. In addition, in some situations, it may be necessary to keep the overtone of the party less sexual and more fun, so novelty entertainment is the best solution.

Not only do they strip, but they can also host, serve drinks, appetizers, and even bartend at any type of function. Many of the little people entertainers have various fun costumes including Oompa Loompa, Mini Me, leprechaun, elf, court jester, Elvis, and even a Mexican costume complete with poncho and a sombrero filled with chips and dip so they can be a moving cocktail table. One of the acts provided is a band called Mini Kiss – a group of little people that dress up in full Kiss costumes and makeup and perform the classic Kiss songs live in concert.

We also book overweight strippers, which can be used as a gag or to add some fun to an event. The overweight strippers are usually “tipping the scales” at 300-400 lbs. We recommend blindfolding the guest of honor, and when the music starts so does the lap dance. When the overweight stripper removes the blindfold the room just erupts with laughter.

Belly dancers are also available for booking. They are great when the event has young children present, and a stripper would not be appropriate. They usually perform for birthday parties and corporate events.

Some of the other acts we book are celebrity impersonators – everyone from Madonna to Elvis. These are usually booked for birthday parties and corporate events. It is usually an older crowd, 40-75, who books these entertainers.

YNOT.com: How do you protect the strippers from undue attention?

Danny: We usually send a chaperone with the female exotic dancers to ensure their safety. Most of the guys are very well behaved and respectful, just looking to have a good time at their party. Of course as the saying goes “there is one in every crowd.” However the one guy who is intoxicated and becoming a nuisance is usually diffused by his own friends, because if the strippers get nervous they are going to want to leave the party – and no one wants that.

YNOT.com: What are some of the most interesting events you’ve done to date?

Danny: We have done some pretty cool parties for some real high profile clients: A-list celebrities, rock stars and even heads of state, and foreign diplomats. (Sorry, I can’t drop any names – and no, Tiger Woods was not a client.) Some of the more memorable events were a bachelor party that hired girls to jell-o wrestle, and we even had a midget referee – that was a blast.

YNOT.com: Why would a stripper sign up with you, rather than work the club circuit?

Danny: There are three basic reasons why it is better to work with a private party agency:

1) When you work at a club you have to work a 6-8 hour shift standing around on your high heels. (OUCH!) With Centerfold Strips, the show is either a 1/2 hour show or one hour show, and they are out the door. The dancers accept as many shows on any nights as you want, which gives them excellent flexibility.

2) When you work at the club you have to tip out everyone – the house, the DJ, the house mom, etc. With Centerfold Strips the dancers keep all of their tips.

3) When you work at the club your pay is not guaranteed – you can only hope it is a busy night. With Centerfold Strips their money is guaranteed. If they show up to work [they] get paid on arrival for their show.

YNOT.com: What are your future plans?

Danny: Our future plans include offering a business or licensing opportunity whereby someone can purchase our proprietary software system to run their own adult entertainment agency.
