CCBill Adds New Revenue and Cross-Selling Options
TEMPE, Ariz. – Global e-commerce solutions provider CCBill has expanded its cross-sale and up-sale tools in order to help online entertainment merchants not only diversify their revenue streams, but also combine different product categories at advantageous processing rates.
The new tools allow merchants to benefit from the pricing packages CCBill launched in October. Designed to provide a single-source payment-processing platform for non-adult and low-risk markets while at the same time offering high-risk payment services from a name consumers know and trust, the packages offer solutions for merchants at all levels of business in all adult sectors.
One of the four packages, CCBill Complete, provides a low-cost payment processing solution for tangible and hard goods such as toys, DVDs, books and calendars. By employing CCBill Complete, tangible items may be sold along with subscriptions on membership sites, thereby increasing revenues and reducing costs for businesses while at the same decreasing the consumer frustration and confusion that can result from multiple points of purchase.
“Selling tangibles is something many of our merchants have expressed an interest in doing, and are doing now, as a way to complement their sales of online content,” said Gary Jackson, managing vice president of sales and internet markets for CCBill. “With the addition of our new rates packages for low-risk and non-adult products, our merchants can now start offering these types of goods in conjunction with their other digital services and high-risk content. One source and one-checkout makes for an easy purchase and a smooth consumer experience — at an approachable price.”
CCBill Complete offers rates starting at 3.9 percent plus $0.55 per transaction. Like the other pricing packages, Complete includes all the features of CCBill payment processing services, which have been designed to simplify the process for consumers and alleviate billing concerns.
“Our OneClick services have provided incredible success for many of our merchants,” Jackson said. “Not only can a website owner open up more opportunities to sell goods to subscribers who are already on their websites, but other hard-goods sellers also can leverage CCBill’s processing platform to cross-sell to tens of thousands of CCBill merchants. It really brings tremendous sales opportunities under one big payments umbrella.”
