YNOT – CC Media Network Ltd., a live video-chat operator based in the British Virgin Islands, is preparing to launch what the company believes is the first-of-its-kind live chat program that works on Apple’s mobile platforms. CC Media representatives will demonstrate the system during the “Adult Chat & Dating” seminar taking place June 10 as part of the World Telemedia Show in Malta (June 9-11).Designed to operate on iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, the CC Media product run in Apple’s Safari browser, thereby bypassing the manufacturer’s ban on adult content in native applications. Based on CC Media’s flagship live-chat network, CamContacts, the mobile system will feature more than 75,000 chat hosts from 173 countries worldwide and can be white-labeled.

“The product is going live this month on one of the web’s biggest adult portals, with 8-10 million unique visitors per day,” said CC Media Chief Executive Officer Rick Clay. “We will soon be launching an Android-optimized application, and since there is no restriction on adult content in the Android app store, we expect this product to add momentum to our smart phone offerings and to give our white-label partners and end users even more choice.
