Canadian Bureaucrats Nailed for Porn at Work
By Peter Berton
OTTAWA, Canada – The Canadian government has taken action against 24 government employees for watching or sharing porn at work.
Stealthy sleuthing by investigators at Public Works and Government Services Canada found the two dozen office workers using the internet for naughty purposes over the past four years.
According to the QMI News Agency, the most egregious of the offenders sent explicit images in 66 emails with subject lines including “what makes women special,” “Taliban Hooker” and “a grandmother and her tattoos.” Another spent five hours a day visiting porn sites and downloading content.
Following the investigation, one employee was fired and four were suspended. In a sixth case, the agency shut off his workplace internet access and moved his desk “so he could be more easily supervised,” according to a QMI report.
The remaining 18 received reprimands.
