Cam_Girlfriend Earns Official Selection at Stareable Fest
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Cam_Girlfriend, the award-winning comedy web series from Camming Life, continues to catch the eye of the film festival circuit, as evidenced by the series by being named an official selection of the Stareable Fest, an indie TV and web series festival in New York.
“We are honored and humbled that our 10-episode comedy series continues to get attention worldwide,” said Daniel AM Rosenberg, the director of Cam_Girlfriend. “There was a lot of hard work and love put into this by everyone involved, and to have that appreciated by so many is a wonderful feeling.”
Cam_Girlfriend follows the comic misadventures of Chloe – a Chaturbate broadcaster portrayed by Chaturbate independent broadcaster Lily LaBeau – with a tongue-in-cheek take on the life of a cam girl. The series was created by Ethan Cole and written by Cole and Michael Goldlist. It was produced by Goldlist, Rosenberg and Jason Kennedy. The series was made possible by Canada’s Independent Production Fund.
The Stareable Festival, which is slated for October 28-30 at The Space at Flatiron in New York City, was created to recognize amazing content from web series creators who were not getting the support they were due. The festival schedule offers a variety of speakers, workshops and networking opportunities. The Stareable Festival is sponsored by several major media companies, including Disney, Universal NBC, BBC America and AMC Networks.
