CAM4 Collaborates with VICE for Insightful Documentary
Toronto, Ontario – VICE, the media powerhouse that is fueled by the exploration the most intriguing topics and current affairs across the globe, has produced and released “Viewing Pleasure” a feature documentary delving into the world of virtual reality live camming and focusing squarely on the innovative and technologically advanced live cams platform CAM4VR. VICE’s correspondent Nancy Morski experiences CAM4VR for the first time at the beginning of the piece and takes us on a personal journey illustrating how incredibly realistic this technology is while also posing serious questions to experts in various fields to understand what implications that the exposure to and consumption of such media can have on interpersonal relationships in years to come. Morski takes a strong lead in the direction of the documentary and invites viewers into the immersive world of virtual reality live camming while personally getting an up close and personal experience.
“Viewing Pleasure” begins as Morski is visibly stimulated amidst a personal one-on-one live show with Ela Darling, the world’s first VR cam girl and influential figure in VR live broadcast technology. Impressed by that experience, Morski and her production crew travel the continent to learn more about virtual reality camming through discussions with popular CAM4 performer Caitie Rage, an avid CAM4VR customer “D.T.”, esteemed Digital Sex, Intimacy & Relationships expert Robert Weiss, and the woman who created it all, the queen of VR adult entertainment herself – Ela Darling.
“Viewing Pleasure” explores the influence that VR camming has on the performers and viewers alike. As this new technology connects people in a more intimate way than ever before there are societal implications at play. The introduction of the live 360º 3D photorealistic CAM4VR experience essentially transports viewers right into performers’ bedrooms – removing barriers and making VR camming the closest thing to being in the same room with the only thing missing being the physical touch of another individual. Fast forward – CAM4VR is also overcoming that obstacle with haptic and interactive devices. There is no limit to what is in store.
