CalExotics Lines Win Int’l. Packaging Awards
ONTARIO, Calif. – The 45th Creativity Print and Packaging Awards has recognized two CalExotics collections — Kits and Silhouette — for innovative packaging.
The Creativity International Design Awards have been honoring graphic design excellence since 1970. The awards are given in two categories — media and interactive, and print and packaging. Honorees span a variety of genres and have included major brands like Whole Foods, MTV and Coca Cola.
“It is an incredible honor to be in the same category as Coca Cola and MTV,” said CalExotics founder and Chief Executive Officer Susan Colvin. “We strive to provide exceptional products, and that includes inventive packaging. Thank you to the judges for these prestigious awards.”
The Kits collection combines time-proven favorites and exciting new products segmented into three categories: His, Hers and Ours. Each kit is designed to help create a unique and enjoyable experience alone or with a partner. The Kits packaging helps spark the imagination of its users and helps build excitement, Colvin said.
Silhouette features seductive curves and ergonomically advanced shapes that are luxurious and beautiful. Made of body-safe silicone with advanced features, “Silhouette embodies the shape of pleasure,” according to marketing literature. The Silhouette packaging is durable and doubles as a keepsake storage box. It offers reverse merchandising capabilities with a beautiful design on one side and a window display on the other.
