VIENNA – At 5’1” and 88 pounds, Fanny is a sexual dynamo. According to the owner of the brothel where she works, the petite sex magnet is the most popular lady on the property.

And she’s about to put her human co-workers out of business.

Fanny is a love doll. She earns $93 an hour for her attentions, and she’s booked weeks in advance, for multiple days in a row. None of the other working girls can claim that kind of popularity, the owner said.

In fact, Fanny is such a hit with clients of the Kontakthof brothel that the owner has ordered a sister doll from the Japanese manufacturer. Like Fanny, the new girl will be composed of silicone skin and musculature overlying a metal frame and cost about $8,200.

Other Austrian brothels have taken notice and ordered realistic love dolls of their own in order to satisfy what one owner described as “a trendy sex fetish.”

Even though Peter Laskaris has ordered sex dolls for his two brothels, he said he doesn’t understand the attraction.

“I’ve tried that once,” he said, “but it’s just like sleeping with a corpse.”
