BranditScan Launches “Watchdog” Domain Delisting Protection Service
MONTREAL – Brand protection provider BranditScan Inc. has announced their new Domain Delisting Protection Service “Watchdog”, a free B2B service that allows businesses to submit domains they either own or are affiliated with, to BranditScan’s global whitelist.
Once verified, Watchdog “ensures that delisting counters are sent for all erroneous claims on Google,” BranditScan said in their release, adding that the tool was developed “to protect piracy-free domains from false delisting claims that could have impact regular business flow.”
“Affiliates, paysites, traffic networks, media outlets and other businesses in the adult industry are invited to share their domains on branditscan.com/partners,” the company said in their release. “Once submitted, a domain audit will be done to confirm ownership, and to verify that those domains are indeed piracy-free.”
All verified domains will be globally whitelisted on BranditScan. Those domains will also receive “a delisting inspection to identify erroneous delisting claims and automatically dispatch the counters,” according to BranditScan. Registered businesses will “receive period updates and be notified of any future delisting counter claims sent for their domains.”
In the announcement, BranditScan said Watchdog is “designed to ultimately save organizations valuable time while helping to improving their SEO.”
