Anti-piracy and content protection software BranditScan has announced the launch of a new blog that hosts original and guest-contributed educational pieces, with a focus on how to protect online content. In the announcement, BranditScan said the blog will be managed by the company’s marketing team, who will “publish weekly articles on topics related to security, such as content piracy and catfishing.”

“In this day and age when content theft is so rampant, it is so important that models know how to best protect themselves and their content online,” said Jessica Hookimaw, BranditScan’s Community Manager. “That is especially true if they are looking to grow their business to success.”

In addition to information about preventing content theft and enhancing online security, the blog will also host various other articles related to the business of content creation, “such as workspace design and how to best work with photographers,” according to the company’s announcement.

“We want to provide a place where anyone can have access to such information and be supported in what they do,” Hookimaw said.
