Booble.com and Adam & Eve Support Breast Awareness During AEE
LOS ANGELES, CA — Producers and consumers of erotic visual content spend a lot of time looking at breasts but they don’t necessarily spend much time thinking much about the reality of owning and caring for a set of breasts. Although breast cancer rates are decreasing, more than two million women in the United States alone have been diagnosed with it — and 41,000 women are expected to have died from it in 2006.Porn itself has not been untouched by breast cancer, either, with 1970s and ’80s favorite Annie Sprinkle recently and successfully completing treatment for the disease, to name only one performer affected by the leading form of cancer for women, especially women under the age of 40.
Booble.com and Adam & Eve think it’s time that the adult industry give breasts the support they really need during January’s Adult Entertainment Expo by working with non-profit organization, b.a.b.e. – Breast Awareness Benefits Everyone — to end breast cancer.
Between January 10th and 13th, breast lovers will have the opportunity to pick up their own porn star autographed “squeeze boob” when they donate five dollars at the AEE b.a.b.e. booth (#4073). The more money donated, the more autographed boobs!
Autographing b.a.b.e. booth girls include top heavy Taylor Wane, and her more modestly enhanced or bestowed industry sisters Joanna Angel, Sunny Lane, Carmen Luvana, and Tera Patrick. Also helping out are Mary Carey, Jasmine Byrne, Devon Lee, Sophia Lynn, Monica Mayhem, Paulina James, Tassy Pink, Ava Rose, Daphne Rosen, and Cousin Stevie, with more names being added as time goes by.
All involved are excited about the opportunity to bring this issue to the attention of adult industry insiders and fans, with Katy Zvolerin, director of public relations for Adam & Eve saying that “Adam & Eve is proud to be a part of this worthwhile cause. Our contract stars are amazingly supportive of the efforts of b.a.b.e., and Adam & Eve is excited to add this important cause to our growing list of philanthropic work.”
Marcia Hrichison, founder of b.a.b.e., is excited about the partnership possibilities. “With so many great adult stars and companies on the b.a.b.e. team, we will get the message out and put the ‘fun’ in fundraising. AEE is the perfect venue for our mission and Booble and Adam & Eve are the perfect pair for b.a.b.e. Check them, don’t neglect them.”
With one in every eight women developing breast cancer, that’s advice to take.
