BlowYo, Designed by a Consumer, Debuts
BATH, England – Pleasure product manufacturer Lovehoney has launched a new male sex toy, BlowYo.
Designed for solo play or as an addition to oral play with a partner, BlowYo is a stroker that mimics the sensations of intense oral sex. Designed with a solid ring at both ends of a super-stretchy, twistable sleeve, the product incorporates four different interior textures: intense ticklers, ultimate bubble, extreme wave and sensation swirl. Each texture was engineered so users can adjust the sensation by adjusting their pressure on BlowYo’s exterior surface.
The toys are phthalate-free; the inserts are composed of ABS plastic overlaid with TPE.
The product, designed by an Australian, won Lovehoney’s Design a Sex Toy competition in 2015. The competition invites sex toy enthusiasts and designers to come up with an innovative idea for a sex toy, with the winning creation then developed, produced and marketed by Lovehoney.
Lovehoney estimates the global male sex toy market is worth roughly $1 billion. In a recent survey of 14,000 consumers, the company discovered 64 percent of respondents thought male sex toys could become as popular as sex toys aimed at women; 76 percent said men who hadn’t tried male sex toys were missing out on sexual pleasure.
“Taking into consideration the survey results, we hope with BlowYo we can tempt as many new customers as possible to try something a little different,” said Jim Primrose, Lovehoney’s international sales manager said. “It really is a revolutionary male stroker. There is nothing out there quite like it which creates the same intense sensations of intense oral sex.”
BlowYo comes in a plain black container for discreet storage and portability. Additionally, a special renewer powder is available to condition the stretchy TPE material and keep it feeling soft, supple and just like new.
