HOLLYWOOD, CA — Tila Tequila, bisexual Myspace.com personality, has signed on to do a reality show on MTV. A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila is set to debut on October 9th. Tequila is known for having the most “friends” ever on the MySpace social networking website with more than 2 million currently. Hailing from Singapore, she has modeled for Playboy and has appeared on the covers of Stuff and Maxim. She also was the host of Fuse TV’s Pants-Off Dance-Off for a season.

The 10 episode series will star Tequila and feature 10 straight men and 10 lesbians, all trying to win Tequila’s affection. The contestants will live together in Tequila’s tricked-out-for-TV mansion and every week in classic reality TV style, Tequila will boot potential mates off the show.

“Tila Tequila made a name for herself by doing things her way, captivating legions of fans online, both men and women. Now she is taking that attitude and sex appeal to her own TV series where she is looking for a mate… by again, captivating a group of both men and women,” said Tony DiSanto, executive vice president of series development and programming for MTV, in a statement. “The show is a rollercoaster ride of drama, conflict and emotion, busting stereotypes and challenging the norm — proving that the rules of attraction are made to be broken.”
