Belville Named In-House Attorney for Kink.com
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Chad Belville has been named the in-house attorney for Kink.com, the company announced Tuesday. Belville is the first to fill the position in the company’s 10-year history.“Chad brings years of experience in the industry and a broad understanding of the unique issues faced by companies specializing in quality adult entertainment,” said Kink.com founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter Acworth. “We also believe he is a good fit for our company and in the San Francisco community. He is well known on the gay side, where we want to expand. We think he is a great addition to our team.”
Belville, who frequently uses the moniker “ChadKnowsLaw” on webmaster forums, said, “I am very excited about working as part of the Kink.com team. I will still be servicing a small number of my regular clients, but I will be spending most of my time in San Francisco with a few days each month in Phoenix. Peter and his team have been fantastic at welcoming me to this new position.”
Since Acworth founded Kink.com in his dorm room in 1997, the company has grown to employ more than 80 people. Earlier this year, it bought the 200,000-square-foot San Francisco Armory, where its offices and studios are located.
Kink.com is a major producer of fetish content. In addition to a network of fetish-themed website, the company hosts an affiliate program at KinkyDollars.com.
