LOS ANGELES, Calif. – At this year’s Urban X Awards in Los Angeles, BasisDx, a leader in at-home STI testing, “used the platform to spotlight the crucial role of STI testing within the adult industry,” the company said in a statement released today.

By providing free testing kits to professionals in attendance, BasisDx “underscored the industry’s ongoing commitment to sexual health and safety,” the company added.

Hosted by Nicole Kitt, Carmela Clutch, and Jenna Foxx, the Urban X Awards gathered top talent from throughout the adult industry. Through their attendance and test giveaway, BasisDx “ensured that the spotlight wasn’t just on the stars but also on the importance of sexual health,” the company said.

Throughout the weekend, which included events like the Hall of Fame dinner, a lingerie party at The Players Club (“attended by Snoop Dog himself,” the company noted), and a white party at Harbor House, BasisDx “made its PASS-certified Pro13 testing kits available to all attendees, giving out hundreds of kits to partygoers.”
