SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – BasisDx, the makers of the first and only PASS-certified at-home testing kit, the Pro13, have announced a new subscription model option to “make it easier for adult performers, content creators, and people in the lifestyle to always have testing kits on hand,” the company said.

“The demand for BasisDx Pro13 testing kits has gone through the roof,” the company said in announcing the new subscription option. “Adult performers, creators, and lifestylers understand the importance of being tested and always knowing their status.

“While testing at least twice a month, having the kit on hand is essential,” the company added. “BasisDx has dropped its subscription model. By subscribing, you get two kits automatically shipped to your door once a month and receive a 5% discount off the regular price and any additional items ordered. After subscribing for six months, the discount gets bumped to 7%.

In addition to not running out of kits or having to remember to reorder, subscribers get other key benefits, including sharing subscription items with others and being able to cancel or hold your subscription at any time using the contact page. And if you don’t use the kits right away, they have a one-year shelf life.”

BasisDX Founder and CEO, Dr. K. said the idea to offer a subscription option grew out of conversations with its test kit users.

“During the EXXXOTICA shows, many performers and creators asked us about a subscription model,” Dr. K said.  “When you’re testing often, having the kits and not having to order them is much easier. We thought it was a great idea, and here we are. We’ve already had a lot of sign-ups and expect many more.”

BasisDx also recently announced the ability for performers and creators to get their results more quickly, with the company adding new courier options for the return of results.
